I know its been a stressful time for everyone and I know we have our own issues but I just need some help and advice please.
I have CRPS in both of my legs, I'm taking pregablin and oromorph if the pain is to bad. I work 42 hours a week and have been struggling with my mental health and have been having a break down atleast once a day.
I've been talking to my doctor and therapist about everything but I just can't myself in the right place.
My question is should I get myself furlough? Or is that a bad idea?
Many thanks and I hope everyone is okay?

Hi , Sorry to hear you are feeling as you do. It sounds like you are suffering from depression. Being in pain and given the current situation that's understandable. As you also work a full week, you are probably feeling drained. Maybe you're not sleeping well either... that doesn't help. Your hormones could be out of sync.?
You don't say if you have a good support network of family & friends or your age etc, the type of job you do..
What concerns me is that your mind isnt in a 'good place' at the moment.
I'd be inclined to suggest that you see your GP and have a chat about your medication and your thoughts but do be honest with them.
But be aware, that GP's aren't mental health experts., although they may prescribe anti depressants, it's trial and error to find the right one for you. Your GP could put you in touch with your local mental health team, which might be the best thing.
In the meantime you could find out about mindfulness techniques and also relaxation breathing... it helps to quieten the mind.
Take care, there is light at the end of the tunnel. x
I am wondering why its so difficult for you to take some time off, its very tiring having pain and being on oral morph ( as I know myself) perhaps you need to give yourself permission to rest and not do so much I mean 42 Hours a week and lockdown would be too much for anyone - do you work in the therapeutic field. I have been furloughed myself and using the time very constructively to do all sorts of new things whilst not working so hard.
You tale care and don't be so hard on yourself its OK to have a break.
