I've been off it for about 4 months now; I used what's called a "Prozac bridge" in the end and that did help- ask your GP about it. The worst symptom for me has been exhaustion but as I was always fatigued when on Seroxat anyway, nothing has changed. I have the odd night where I can't sleep until the early hours, like last night. I also started having terrible pains whilst I was on it which, when I touch the area feels as if the bone underneath has been sandpapered! I've had it in my back the over Christmas and one night it was so bad it woke me up! I really regret ever taking Seroxat but I'm determined to ride this out and stay off it. I use 5HTP tincture, the only one allowed in Ireland, 3 times a day and that helps ease the exhaustion and fatigue but I feel terrible if I leave it out. Voltarol gel seems to help the pain but sometimes I have to resort to Solpadine like I did last night. I also take Omega 3 fish oil, Vit D, a large dose of magnesium and a choline and inositol tablet. I'd recommend milk thistle as well for helping your liver to detox. You MUST tell your GP if you plan to come off it and you MUST reduce the dose SLOWLY as going "cold turkey" is hellish by all accounts. You may still find it tough going but be gentle with yourself, do it ever so slowly, ask your GP for support including the "Prozac bridge" and keep your heart up! All the very best!
