Do you have shoulder pain?

As you may have experienced, achieving full recovery can be difficult. Theoretically, there are many variables related to recovery according to studies examined the effect of these different variables separately. Thinking these factors individually makes it difficult to comprehend main factor(s) leading the way to a full recovery.

Therefore, this doctoral study aims to search in depth all variables together to improve the outcomes of treatments. The study findings will help clinicians to prevent and understand tendinopathy better in the future.

We kindly ask you to play an active role in shaping this development by taking part in the study, meaning that future patients will be treated with an effective evidence-based protocol from the start leading to an optimum management of their condition. Being part of this study will help you to gain a deeper understanding of your conditions.

Biomechanical ignores much in the way the body works. All I can see is the problems in treatment that exist now will continue.

You say: "Therefore, this doctoral study aims to search in depth all variables together to improve the outcomes of treatments." It is not possible to do this. Many variables cannot be recorded.

How are going to deal with the issue of "how something is done" is more important than what is being done?

Thanks for your interest. We are not ignoring biomechanical things because we have biomechanical examinations if participants can come to the QMUL human performance lab.

I did very depth literature review and found a lot of important variables from the literature which were focused in different studies. I define the suitable way to collect them. I collect some of them via biomechanical movement analysis, some of them via clinical examination with ultrasound examination and the rest of them via online survey.

So if people would like to help the study, they will fill baseline online survey and very short monthly follow up surveys. If they are suitable to attend optional biomechanical and clinical examination, they will attend once the examinations.

So far, the feasibility study of the cohort study is done.

If you have more questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
