Pain under breast feels like it’s in my lung!

I woke up this morning with a pain just under my left breast it feels like the pains actually coming from my lung if that makes sense, I’ve had it all day around 4 I started to feel sickly confused and shakey it did eventually go but I became very tired and fell asleep for 2 hours which is odd for me to fall asleep during the day. The pain is still present I feel it every now and again I made a point to breathe in hard and it did hurt, I’m trying to sleep and I can’t sleep in certain positions as it makes the pain worse any advice on what it can be?

Might be wise to take some aspirin 50- 75 mg every few hrs till you get to see a medical person.

Sounds like maybe a muscular strain of some sort. If you think it might be that , then 400 mg of Ibuprofen before bed might just relieve the tension.

Have a restful night.

I would go see a doctor soon, just to put your mind at rest.

I would phone 111, and ask them to do an assessment. Any pains in that area, that last a while, may not be serious itself, but could identify an underlying problem, that needs checking out. The phone call costs nothing, so what have you got to lose?

Sounds like you may have a rib out of place or pinched possibly. If it hurts to breath and when you lay in certain positions, I would check this out with a chiropractor as it is an easy fix.

Go to Dr to check for infection/ cracked rib etc ?
