Have you had a diagnosis of the cause of your SFN?

There are treatments available but they are based on the underlying cause.

I cannot discuss treatment because from the article treatment depends on cause. There are things you can do. This involves work on your part to investigate, experiment, draw conclusions and develop another investigation.

Amptriptyline and Gabapentin are the "first line" treatments, prescription drugs which need to be titrated up - and down - under medical direction. Worth a try definitely, I don't know how much good they've done me - definitely not a magic bullet

Cannabis oil - CBD - is worth a go

Expensive though, I'm trying the 10% atomiser spray - got it from a local chemist for £60 -far from cheap; jury's out - but whatever else you don't get the potential side effects associated with the prescription medications
