I had something very similar. I describe it as if someone had grabbed my hair and suddenly snatched at it. It was found to be a disc problem. I had herniated two discs in my neck. I’m not a doctor but have had lower back & neck problems since I joined the military in 1986 until leaving in 2002. I still have problems now. However that neck problem was the start of the end of my career. It progressed into pain in shoulder. Twitching & numbness in 3 fingers. A lot of the issues were taken away with the removal of the worst disc which was in contact with my spinal chord. So I had no choice as to its removal. If you aren’t already seeing a consultant I’d ask to see one. The earliest diagnosis is the best way to save further damage & pain. Good luck my friend

Hi, I had a herniated disk in my neck last summer. I went thru Chiropractic sessions, trigger point injections and I listened to the Motovational Doc on youtube. This doc has helped me the most. He has all kinds of Chiropractic methods to treat muscle and disk problems. Granted it has taken me 9 months to get better, but I still use his technics daily. Good luck to you.
