Knee replacement.

Im riddled with arthritis and have now been offered a knee replacement in both knees anyone has both knees done at the same time ?

If I were you I would not do two at once. I had one done last April and it is still stiff and sore. My other one is bad too but Im now looking into an outpatient procedure call radiofrequency ablation where they deaden the nerves. It can last awhile but the nerves can grow back and then you need to get it redone, but it can last for years too. After going thru that knee surgery and going this long still in pain, I will never get that tkr done again. Good luck.

NO!!! sorry, but I can't stress it enough. my dad had both done at the same time and it was a nightmare. because he couldn't baby one at a time and he had so much pain, he ended up staying in bed all the time, his knees didn't heal well, he had hardly any range of motion from not being able to do his physio properly, and he ended up getting them replaced again, separately this time.
