Hi there, it could well be are you taking anything else, I know that amytriptiline can react the bladder I know as I was on it and went into retention if Dr thinks it is you will be wise to come of and try a different drug
Yes i have. It's a combination of an opiate that I'm on and Lyrica.
Hello , the dr is right morphine drugs can cause bladder problems for some depending on the dosage I guess. However I just had a problem with my bladder still persisting, so you do need to see the GP incase it is something else try more fluids too I was told. Hope you feel better soon.
Hi, I'm taking morphine 30 mgs twice a day, I'm also taking 70 mgs of amitriptyline, 60 mgs of duloxetine and 150 mgs of sertraline. I've got no problems with my water works, I have problems with constipation and that is a side effect of morphine. Are you drinking plenty of fluids? Could you have a UTI? I hope you get things sorted, take care sullivn.
thanks for all your help
Darling see a Uro gynaecologist. It’s worth it. Could be a number of things. I don’t agree with your doc but I’m a bit dumb lol xxxx

Hi there I think you might of answered something I have been ponding with, now I realise my water problem could be link to morphine, as the timing seem to merge. Just turn on a tap, have a cup of tea so on and so forth it's not so much embarrassing but bloody annoying,. Have to have a word with my Doc. Thanks for raising this situation. Hermes
