Gabberpentin is similar to pregabilin same family first one riding work for me pregabilin does the job and no side effects of either
Hi spursboy, yes , you take them as stated by your gp, 3× per day , not when you get the pain only yes there are side effects , but they usually subside after a few weeks ,I was on them myself but I couldn't tolerate them so im now on pregabalin, issued by pain management clinic as hospital.
Hi there. I was on gabapentin but swapped to pregabalin due to eye issues. They work in a similar way. However they are by far the best for referred nerve pain. I have both back pain and referred nerve pain. The pregabalin does not much for my back pain but helps a lot for the nerve pain. I take tramadol for the back pain. Having said that it might just do the job for you. You have to take it as prescribed and regularly to have the greatest effect.
i take Gabapentin 3 times a day 1200 for the day thats max recommended 4 x 300 each i never noticed any side effects i no one thing is when the next dose is needed as the pain pops its little head up
