Why has it arrived so soon
She would know how long the waiting times are so could give you a good idea how long to wait.
This is normal

Like everything else there is a large waiting list and it sounds like it is around 2 months in your area. This is how she knows. The good news is if you are already getting DLA this should continue until your appointment, and if you get PIP and it is more than your DLA then it should be backdated to the time you claimed from. x
Generally if they get your review form from you, they will assess, then contact your GP and any Specialists you have been seeing. They then will consider if they need to see you, also then make an appointment. The appointment may be in a queue, then they will send an appointment.
If you have more time ok, accept that and move on, personally I would feel the longer the better. So keep your powder dry.

Ok will do thanks for your advice got better idea of how it / they work I'm gonna try to forget about them for now
Apparently they don't contact your GP you have to get letters and fill in forms and you take it to them. So check that if you can
