What is CALR mutation deletion with normal platelets?

I had a blood test and read it and it stated CALR positive for mutant deletion yet my platelets are within normal range. I’ve yet to see anyone with an MPN have normal platelets. WBC 17.1, lymphocytes and monocytes high. Segs-bands high as well but I don’t know what they are.

Hello

I have looked up above and cannot find an explanation. Bloods generally I do not understand

Try looking on NHS CHOICES web page.

Also Patient may also be a good site to visit. If that proves a blank your GP will have your notes and any associated Hemo notes from hospital
