Alternative to Pregabalin

Hi I am suffering from some side affects and wondering if there is an alternative drug

I didn’t get on well with pregablin I switched to gabapentin which was great for pain but highly addictive.

If I miss a dose I suffer terribly

Two to your doctor/pain doctor about it is your best bet. It’s a horrible drug so is gabapentin , what else are you on and what for?

I have nerve problems among others but have to stay away from them due to horrible side effects. My doctor put me on other meds. So just need to talk to your doctor or whoever is giving you the pain meds and especially tell them about the side effects

Hi I used to be on gabapentin but had to switch to pregabalin. Some people react better to one than the other, they are from the same family. So if you have not tried gabapentin it’s worth a try. Tramadol is another possibility or amytripthyline. But it depends all what you are taking it for.
