Hi had this for 7 months and the MRI scan says I have a bulging disk level 4.5 but they said it's not on my sciatica nerve so at a dead loss don't know what is causing the pain

Sometimes the brain gets its signals mixed up, so it translates that signal as pain, when there isn't anything physical causing the pain. That's why some people have surgery to fix something but the pain still doesn't go away.

Have you been referred to a pain clinic yet?

No I am getting physio and acupuncture but it's the bulging disk that is causing the numbness I can't sit for long and when I do I need pain pads or heat pads
