Ankle hurts to walk or put any pressure on it

I've had this spot for over 5 years. Had never gone away. I've put lotion on thinking it was dry skin. That never got ride of it. Now my ankle has been killing me and I've not done anything for it to hurt. Any advice on what to do would be nice

Chelsea18, you need to do to your GP and get an x-ray. If you have had it for 5 years and it is now painful, time for doc to look at ! 😘

If this is on the bit of bone that sticks out, could it be from the pressure of your shoes? We sometimes develop what feels like permanent calluses where our shoes sit or rub. It could be that it is unrelated to your ankle pain, but if the ankle pain is new and you haven't done anything to that would result in pain, then it is best to get it checked out by your GP. Only they will know if the two are even related.
