I had surgery on 7/19. I had two fat tissue in my arm. Two weeks later, I showered scar to my Dr. She said my scar tissue attached to the nerve n recommends to go to physical therapy. It will be break down n be normal.Or do another surgery cut between scar tissue n nerve. When I try to straight my arm, I have pain now. I can see nerve line in my arm from wrist band area when I do.

Is it possible become separate nerve to scar tissue by phisical therapy? I'm scare to do another surgery after something happen again

Scar tissue can be broken down using massage and exercise so I'd find a good chiropractor or physio and ask about it. In my opinion surgery is the last resort. It can appear quicker but ultimately can create more problems than it solves.

Thank you for advice. I have an app for physio on 18th. It's still long day though. I will try to massage at home too.

I don't think I would massage at home. It was a very specific type of movement and I couldn't have done it to myself. It is very painful actually but the kind of pain where one knows it is doing you good. In chinese medicine it's called sweet pain !

Not sure guess that would depend. There is so many things PT Can do these days. I would stop in to a physical therapy place near you and talk with them and see if that's a possibility? If not call your surgeon and make an appointment with them.

Thank you. I changed my physical therapy 10th. I will go n talk with.

My surgeon didn't take any X-Ray before surgery n after too. I don't feel to go back that Dr. I'm thinking to go another Dr. for second opinion after see physical therapy. Still my arm have several area pain.

I would too.. I just had surgery on my Right shoulder first of june 2016 an 3 weeks later had a wreck not my fault an it re-injured my right shoulder but different injury. My ortho had ct done an it showed ripped rotor cuff, torn bicep, an arthritis. Well my surgeon said he didn't see any of these issues. I got my PT to give me another Ortho she knew that was good with shoulder issues. I am having surgery tomorrow. But the kicker is the old Ortho said he removed the arthritis but the new surgeon said arthritis is in there but when he does the surgery he will be able to tell if the old Ortho removed the arthritis or if he lied. If he lied i'm suing that Jack ass. Also he didn't repair everything he said he did either. He is so screwed when i get my lawyers on his ass.

Whole point of the reply is to get a second opinion, cause if I hadn't I would still be sitting here in pain an no light at the tunnel. I knew my shoulder was injured he just didn't want to get caught up in a lawsuit from the damn car wreck I was in.

Good luck

Thank you. U have another surgery today. Hope will be good n get better soon. Good luck

I didn't think any question for my dr before surgery. Because my surgery wasn't serious. Just remove fat tissue n dr said only 15 mins n done

But it wasn't good choice. I needed to research dr info more. Feel like I would like to suing. She doesn't have any responsibility after surgery when she knew my condition now. She just said I didn't touch any nerve n muscle area.

Hope physical therapist help me today n looking forward to hearing something good answer without surgery.

I went to PT today. She said it's possible to back normal. But still I don't feel trust though. She suggested twice a week for 4 weeks. It's not long enough.... I think.

I will try that from next week.hope my arm will be normal.thank you for reply. And I will tell you my result.
