I've never heard of trazodone. Is it an opiate ?

Its good that you have found a combination that seems to work for you. What a confusing business it is.

Trazodone is an anti-depressant Dee. I believe it can be used to treat pain as well as I've noticed a difference already.

Taking both myself. It did not help with pain. The only thing I got was weight gain.

Many of these antidepressants are used for pain even though the are not licenced to. I'm going to ask my GP about trazodone I really need a good night sleep and these spine blocks are not being done every 3 months now we are lucky if we get 1 a year

Trazodone certainly helps me to get to sleep onamission. I usually find that I become tired about half an hour to an hour after taking them at night. Good luck
