Good question.

Numbers of members 700 in AfP and over 10000 in PC means you have a huge variety of different conditions covered by members.

PC does a lot away from the forum. Runs a radio prog, publishes a good magazine helping to educate the public as wee as keeping us new technology etc

PC is based in Scotland althogh has a world wide membersip.

PC is run by volunteers all chronic pain sufferers who are a smashing bunch . AfP seems to be a one man team although he is clearly just as dedicated.

Best thing is maybe join in and see what topics they cover. If you like what they offer you can stay a member. You can join as many forums as you like.

Any reson for asking Dexter? Anything wwe can help with here?

Not sure if this helps or confuses you!

It's odd but when I switch sites I still have the same notifications and messages. Is that just because I'm on healthunlocked?

The only way you would stop getting notifications and messages for Pain Concern is if you stopped being a member. Joining another community on HealthUnlocked does not terminate your membership of this group.

The only way of leaving a forum/community is to edit your profile, scroll down to see your list of communities, take the tick(s) out of the communities you want to leave, then save changes.

Thanks I don't want to leave. Just curious why I show the same notifications no matter what forum I'm on. It's probably just because their on healthunlocked.

Yup agree with humanbeag. You can join as many sites as you like. Some people join all those which apply to their conditions. Just delete if not suitable

Pat has basically answered everything with a lot I didn't know either. I'm on both forums but find there tend to be more people on Pain Concern.

No, no reason. Just curious really. I always think I'm going to check out the other one but end up spending so much time on here. You all are really great to talk with!
