Has any of you experienced mood swings irritability and feeling angry after epidural steroid? Does this pass, as it is not making pain better. Any thoughts about having a valium? To manage mood in short term?

If the epidural contains steroids then yes mood changes can happen. Steroids though so very effective are nasty things.
hi had my epidural on the 14 th of july and had no anger or mood swings, and valium is a muscle relaxant so dont think it would help with mood swings. hope this helps good luck with everything.
I had a spinal like a epidural when I went in for my hysterectomy and my moods have gone up and down since but I presume most that is to do with the hysterectomy and not being able to have any hrt .
