Chronic Pain Support Group North West (Blackpool- Preston- Manchester)

Does anyone know of any patient led, CP support groups in the North West? (Blackpool/Preston). I have tried looking for one for a while with no luck. If there are non, I have been thinking about starting one for a while now... would this interest anyone?

Try contacting Arthritis Care. They do groups for living with chronic conditions, and it doesn't have to be just arthritis. They are structured courses and they are really excellent. Living with chronic pain is quite a big part of it.

I think there is a fibromyalgia group on the Blackpool area - fmauk.org/groups then click on link for your area, and you can see a list of groups registered as working with FMA UK x

Contact [phone] that's Royal Lancashire Hospital they offer a pain service the Dr is called Dr Parag I think and they may know of a goup you can join also I am aware of a chap called Phil Sizer who works with people in Scotland and has pain groups which are very successful I know he's venturing across the border try painassociation.com and they could maybe steer you in the right direction.
