8 moths is a long time to suffer effects of surgery... dont you think? What does your GP say about it?

I agree, you must go to see your gp. Once your gallbladder has been removed, the pain should get less - not worse. So do go and see your gp asap. Good luck and I hope you are in less pain very soon.

Oh please make an appointment today get it checked out :) good luck let us know how you go xgins

I had my gallblader removed 5 years ago if I eat something which has a little more fat in than normal I get terrible pain in my stomach and then have to run to the toilet. Not pain like you are suffering I do think you need to either speak to your gp if you can't speak to the consultants secretary and she will speak to him on your behalf. Hope you get it sorted xx

Hello

Several years ago I had mine removed, was a little bit sickly, it was keyhole surgery and was up and out of hospital by twelve hours. Had no real pain since them, with the exception of post op pain.

Now if I eat fatty food sometimes feel a little livery for a time after drinking milk.

Strongly suggest you see your GP just in case. May be your diet.

Definitely go see your GP and if they don't suggest it, ask if you can go back and have a review by the surgeon. On occasions, abdominal surgery can cause a bit of internal scarring, and if it scars in the wrong places, it can be quite painful if it "pulls" as you move, or as food goes through your gut. It shouldn't happen as much with keyhole surgery, but I think it still can.
