Hi all,

Just wanted to tell you I had my interview last week with the jobcentre, not as bad as I thought, [ I can hear the sigh now)

After a chat it became obvious to my interviewer that I would probably not be employable as on top of my medical conditions I also retire next year.

I was given an appeal leaflet (If you think our decision is wrong). As long as you say you did not realise you could appeal, you can now do so. I imagine this system is to help sort the people who have health problems who genuinely can not work, most of us I should think. But it is a little light at the end of the tunnel.

Good luck to you all with your interviews, not as bad as I was dreading.

Hi Treehugger,Im glad things were better than you anticipated :) yes as much as we feel 'they are out to get us' at the end of the day I guess it is about giving to those that really really need it . Good luck with the future .

jan :)

If you appeal, it may well not be before your retirement anyway!
