Hi Gillimac,

I was prescribed Nefopam many years ago,It,s Trade name is Acupan. It is an opioid analgesic. My memory of it is the same as all the other opiods, nausea, blurred vision, sweating, headache, constipation and if I remember I think the urine is a pink colour. For me it didn,t work.

Hope you are OK

Best wishes Moggiemay x

DEAD WRONG!

It's NOT an opiate:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nefopam

netdoctor.co.uk/aches-and-p...

patient.co.uk/medicine/Nefo...

Generally used WITH opiates to make them more effective, on it's own acts as an analgesic too.

Hi Gillimac. Glad I was able to help. If I get prescribed an opiate I always ask the Doc for an antisickness tab to go with it. It never occurs to GP to tell you the side effects, however you should always read the patient information leaflet or ask the Chemist
