You may recall, Angie had been scheduled for surgery on 9 April. Having spoken with the surgeon it was decided to bring the op forward a week so she would not be off chemo as long. Just as well really, since Angie hasn't had any chemo for a couple of weeks now, her symptoms have come back with a bang. She has swollen up hugely and is feeling tired, sick and very uncomfortable. God I hate this bloody disease!
We have to be at the hospital at 7am and surgery is scheduled for 8:30am. I hope and pray that the surgery goes well and they get her lodger out successfully. It is scary being helpless when your partner is so ill. Please keep your fingers and toes crossed for her!

I really feel for you both, Andy. It's good they've brought forward the op. It's a small thing but I also think it's good to get the op over early in the day rather than having to hang around.
We are all rooting for you. Keep us posted.
Love to you both

Hi Andy
Everything crossed for Angie. Hope the op goes well.
I am so terribly sorry that you are going through this terrible time. I read your first posting( which I hope is OK) and you said that your wife is tiny and had a huge mass. From personal experience having had a mass of similar size removed , she will hopefully feel much much better once this thing is out.
She is fortunate to have such a loving hubby. Mine, who is also brilliant, wrapped me up in love and affection and believe me this makes a huge huge difference. But you do need to make sure that your own health does not deteriorate, so if things are getting on top of you speak to your GP.
I do hope that the surgery goes well, as this is so crucial.
Sending you lots of cyberhugs and do let us know how it goes.
Wishing that everything goes well for you. It's a horrible time. I hope that Angie feels more comfortable and you can look forward to better times. Best wishes. Annie
Just read your message- I do hope everything went well.
Love and prayers

Hi both, hope all went well and the recovery is starting. I was amazed at how quickly I recovered with little or no pain and hope Angie will be the same
Thinking of you both today. Im sure Angie will be feeling much
better tomorrow. It's amazing how much better you feel after
having the 'Alien' removed ( as mine was called ).
Best Wishes
