Tomorrow will be exactly 1 week since I receved my diagnosis, and I would like to say how marvellous this site is and what a comfort & support its members have been, not to mention the wealth of shared experiences & advice they bring to 'newbies' like me!!
Thank you everyone for all your comments...it really does help & makes me realise I am NOT alone!

Hi Pippi! Isn't it just! I could not have stayed positive without the support of this site,
Hello Pippi.
YUP you are not alone, dont ever feel that you are, we are all here for you anytime ok.
Have yourself a great day. x x
Dear Sunny and Pip - and in fact all!
I'm so glad you've found this site and have drawn comfort from it. I was some way through my chemotherapy before I found it. I would be good if hospitals could raise awareness of the site as it's a great networking opportunity.
If you're feeling wobbly at the moment take heart from knowing so many friends through this site who will share their highs and lows. I had a chemotherapy follow-up meeting with the oncologist yesterday and had some very heartening news. I'm in remission for now. It was the first time I'd ever seen the medical staff smile in 6 months. They do care - five of them squeezed into a very small consulting room to give my husband and I the good news. Make the most of every moment.
Just to add my good wishes to all the others, if you're in need of advice on staying positive or healthy eating etc, try the search box at the top of the page. It may possibly help! I found these very helpful
