Ovacome is running a workshop to discuss what high quality care and services for ovarian cancer patients should look like. It is on Tuesday January 29, 2pm until 4.30pm in central London. We need people to attend to give their views which will then form a report for us to take to policy makers. If you would like to attend, or want further information, please contact Rachael Hurst from MHP Mandate, a health policy consultancy working with us on this project, on 020 3128 8549 or rachael.hurst@mhpc.com. We hope to see you there.
Ovacome workshop "Defining quality in ovarian c... - My Ovacome
Ovacome workshop "Defining quality in ovarian cancer services: the patient perspective" on Tuesday January 29.
I'm hoping to be there, Ruth. Been having a lot of migraines lately so it's always a possibility I won't make it. All being well!
Love Wendy xx
Actually it is a long way to go from Glasgow at very short notice! Will phone Rachael and discuss before I buy my train ticket.
Eileen
Hi Ruth and everyone. I am not going as I would have to go from Glasgow and back on same day by train, as have things on in Glasgow Mon evening and Wed morning. But have sent in my comments on the topics of the meeting, emphasising that I think aspirin and ibuprofen or other NSAIDs should be mentioned in the national guidelines for treatment of ovarian cancer, given the amount of evidence available that they could help some ovarian cancer patients. Aspirin is in guidelines for some other cancers.
Very sorry not to be able to meet other Ovacome members. Hopefully another time!
All best wishes.
Eileen
