Its funny how hello is always accompanied with goodbye

Its funny how good memories can start to make you cry

Its funny how forever never seems to last

Its funny how much you'd lose if you forgot about your past

Its funny how friends can just leave when your down

Its funny how when you need someone they are never around

Its funny how people change and think they are so much better

Its funny how so many lies can be in one letter

Its funny how one day can contain so much regret

Its funny how you can forgive but not forget

Its funny how ironic life can be

But the funniest part of all is

None of that is funny to me...

What a good poem - but somehow very sad . I do hope you're not having a" down" time, or been let down by friends. You can be chuffed with yourself for writing so poignantly. At least we're all here for each other on this site !!

Hi Suzanne

Thanks for your concern. Its not a health problem.......my sister lost her husband 18months ago and i'm having problems with her.......

she really gets me down at times. Going through OC and chemo and

coping with my own depression is enough for me to cope with but i'm getting there slowly.

Hi Suzanne

Just got back from holiday and read your poem. It's beautiful and so sad, has really touched me. One of my 'close' friends also disappeared........funnily enough not when I was going through the chemo but afterwards. She is a bit of an attention seeker and I can only think she was disappointed that I didn't die. Then she could have lapped up all the sympathy which would have come her way. You never really know people do you? Hope you are feeling a little happier today.

Hi chris.. Thankyou it is a very apt poem. Im so sorry about your friend thats just awful.. I think that some people just dont know the true meaning of friendship.. I feel i have real friends on here. May not be in person but i know they care as do i.. I hope you are well.
