Race for life In Jersey today.....

Walking the 5k race with my team of 20 people including my daughter, we have managed to raise an incredible sum of £4.200 for Cancer Research.

Such a good feeling to be part of something so big and have such huge support and positive vibes from so many people.....

Best wishes for today, I can only echo what Annie just said (above) try and share a little with "Ovacome charity" as It is a charity specifically for ovarian cancer, and some other types of cancer get a bigger share of research because they are more well known than OC ( not that they are not deserving of it ) all cancer is bad.....

I think you are doing really well as haven't you recently been diagnosed? You must be still on treatment....my thoughts are with you today.

Walk went very well, warm and sunny and over 1.000 ladies taking part, I am going to request that Ovacome gets a share of the donation when i send the cheques in, and yes I am due my 3rd chemo cycle next friday- half way...

Well done jersey girl. my next big race I'm raising money for the cancer centre where I have my complimentary therapy but I'd like to run for ovacome as well. Maybe if I get a place at London next year??
