Thanks Tweet. I am giving it a go, but can't find out how to presubmit a question which I want to and it suggests you can....

Oh I just tried it again and the box for submitting a question isn't there any more. Don't know why. Linda

So far, (18 minutes in) watching the web chat messages come up is marginally more interesting than watching paint dry. I submitted a question in advance. No sign of ot yet.

Thanks for pointing that out Linda.

Although the web chat has now finished it said at the end that you can re-read it on the same web page, which is what i have just done. It did not take me an hour, so not surprised you found it so entertaining. :)

Did your question get on?

in reply toVickyEm

Yes it did Vicky and I also then asked a second one about what the most promising areas for research are.

Hi Tweeting,

I submitted a question which they didn't address either, but I confess I fell asleep and did not wake up until 1.10pm :-D

However, it has got better and one or two of the questions/answers have borne direct relationship to questions asked here recently. Also it is a great way of confirming Hammersmith is a centre of excellence with their 25% improved survival rates over the last 5 years. This something Florence had pointed out to us before.

So all in all I thought it was good call.

My expectations were probably a bit high, Lizzie. But Ovacome got a plug at the end, which was good.

I tuned into the website in my lunch hour at work. I thought the advice on Avastin was helpful and will use that when I see my Oncologist. I had thought a web chat would be verbal. However useful that we can print it out as evidence. Thanks for letting us know about it.
