Some Good News for the Future?

While watching the blog bladdercancerfight.blogspot... this morning, I was made aware of this:

fiercebiotech.com/press-rel...

I hope this is really good news for the future sufferers of ov. ca. - and perhaps for some of us, too!

Isadora.

Sounds too good to be true but surely before long there has somehow got to be a break though with all this technology around

Actually this vaccine Cvac has been in development since 1997. I'm confused because the phase 3 trial is recruiting at the moment - I think this is just a pr blurb. The phase 3 trial is multinational, but there are no sites in the UK.

There are a lot of vaccine trials for OC ongoing in the US.

Dear Isadora

Thanks for posting this up. I'm not bothered if it's just a publicity stunt. I'm just delighted that there might be a breakthrough and it's good to know these things are being developed. That's cheered me up enormously this evening.

loads of love xx Annie

Hi all

I've sent the link to my support nurse in the trials unit of the hospital I attend to find out if she know about it, knows of trials in the Uk etc. If she comes back with anything interesting will keep you posted.
