Opportunity to be involved with research looking at supporting health and wellbeing

Hello All

We have been asked by researchers at Oxford Brookes University to share the following request with you:

"We are applying for funding for a research project that seeks to work with people with gynaecological cancers to promote healthy lifestyle behaviour changes following primary treatment completion.

We are hoping to use a text messaging based intervention that has been developed in Australia for people with breast cancer to support and empower survivors with regards to exercise, healthy eating, sleep, wellbeing amongst other things.

This has so far been very well received by patients.

We would like to adapt it for people in the UK who have received treatment for primary gynaecological cancer and we would like to have strong involvement from people with lived experience, relevant organisations, and healthcare professionals in all stages of the project.

If you would like to be involved in the design of the project, we will be having an informal online meeting on Tuesday 7th January between 1-2pm, where we can describe our plans and would love to hear your thoughts on the project design.
