Just got results back from PET scan. It looks like there are some mild nodules in lungs as well as moderate pelvic lesion. I’m sure this is recurrence. I haven’t spoken to my oncologist yet, but I am so worried as to what’s next and can it be treated. Would like to know your experiences with this diagnosis. Meanwhile I will try to remain calm. I know I can depend on this group for support and positivity.

I have a TMB greater than 10 and an HRD positive Braca negative. Oncologist said a Tumor Burden grater than 10 makes you a good candidate for immunotherapy
I hope it works. I had hopes that Zejula would have worked but did not. I am just a little bummed that I have to go back on chemo and lose my hair again not to mention the other side effects. I am trying to stay positive and just continuing with my daily routines.
So they’re giving you Taxol again? You shouldn’t lose your hair with other chemos though mine thinned this time on carboplatin alone. It is rough. I’m not sure I could deal with taxol again. I think I’m having Elahere next or a trial.
You’re right I’m getting carbo/doxcil. He told me I will lose my hair, but some others say not as bad with doxcil as taxol. This is such a rollercoaster ride. If only my old gynecologist had listened to me when I went to her complaining about symptoms I had. She gave me ultrasound that showed nothing because I had primary peritoneal OC. I asked for a CA125 she said I didn’t need it I had no family history. Then suggests I must have IBS. This was November of 2022. In March of 23 I had calcium scoring test which showed ascites so I went to my gastro. He was the one who suggested a CT scan for chest and pelvic. If she had only done this in November my treatment might have been more successful. But we have to put it behind us and just hope and pray these new therapies will help. I have quite a few ladies in my support group who are getting Elahere and are getting great results. Good luck to you and hope it is a great result for you. xx 🙏
