Hi, due to a malfunctioning PALB2 gene and family history of ovarian cancer, I'm having keyhole on Friday. Obviously, my nerves were on high alert, but are even worse since I went down a Google rabbit hole and read that green tea is a no no re surgery. I only drink one mug a day and haven't had any since yesterday...am I at risk and will they cancel my op? Thank you.

Hello Sukiling

Thank you for your post. Please discuss your concerns with your surgical team. It is really important that they have full information from you so they can advise you accordingly and minimise any risks from the procedure.

I hope your surgery goes smoothly and wish you a speedy recovery.

Best wishes

If green tea is really verboten, surely we would all have been told about it? I'm no expert but hadn't heard of this before. xx
