Hi first post here. I'm 52 post menopausal (I went through menopause in my 20's) and have been suffering badly with post menopausal bleeding for over a year, when I eventually got my gp to take me seriously I was sent for an ultra sound and a ca125 test, the ca125 test was only 13 which is a good sign but I read my scan report and it says 'left adnexa there is a 57 x 35 x 44 mm cystic lesion which contains internal septa and some papillary projections' which doesn't sound to good!!!
I had an emergency referral which states if I haven't had an appointment by the 10th of June to phone them, I've just called then and was told there's a huge back log and up coming strikes so it could be weeks until my appointment will be booked......this feels insane and is giving me anxiety because I just want to know whats what....does anyone here have any idea how much does it cost to go private and how do you go about it?
Thanks
