Just a quick question. This has been added to my diagnosis on my letter but I didn't notice. I was told I didn't have BRCA gene. Is this what that means?
Thanks

A negative BRCA test (also referred to as BRCA wild type or BRCAwt) means that the gene remains in its original, non-mutated state. So yes negative. I had seen that before but wanted to be sure so I checked .
Source Our Way Forward Ovarian Cancer Glossary I have found useful but this probably has to be vetted by the administrators of the site if useful.
