hello all. I’m reporting back about my 1 year on ATARI trial. I had my results back from my scan and it’s still showing no visible disease.
I was apprehensive this time as chemo treatment only worked for a few months. This trial is not chemo based.
This time last year I was pinning all my hopes on this trial and fortunately for me it is working well.
I’ve been very emotional this month . My daughter had her 30th birthday which I am so grateful to be part of but I’m finding the whole Christmas build up really quite a challenge.I’m hoping now my results are back that I can start participating in the Christmas spirit.
I hope this gives people some hope that treatment are changing and improving and wish you all a happy Christmas x

if you look in cancer research for atari trial there is a section that says who can enter. It’s aimed at clear cell and other rare gynaecological cancers. Hope this helps
hi raphagogogo. I will check when I go back in 3 weeks. As far as I can see on cancer research there is still another year . December 2023. I’m at the Christie’s but this is also being trialled at other hospitals across the uk and Paris I believe.
