Recurring headaches

Hi there ladies

I am having my last chemo. nxt Monday which is great.

I was just wondering if any of you have experienced headaches in between cycles. I seem to get them between days 10 and 15 after my chemo

You should definitely tell your chemo team about the headaches. It sounds like chemo is affecting you in this way, so it’s a passing side effect but get them to record it, just in case xx

I always get headaches around about day 3 to day 9 . I voiced this a while back to my oncologist after having 15 days of headaches and they swapped my antisickness and it worked and evwn though i still got them it wasnt for as long of a period or as intense but I now seem to see the pattern is mainly worse day 3 to 6 which is the days after having the filgrastin injections and ease off a couple days after they have finished around day 8

My migraines have got more frequent on weekly Taxol - one each week - and like you I suspected Filgastrim; however my onc agreed to try not using it for a few weeks but it's made no difference! I'm now trying cutting out bread and definitely made a difference. So, fingers crossed ....

I occasionally get aura migraines and noticed an increase in them about 4 - 5 days after chemo (3 weekly taxol). Since stopping chemo 4 weeks ago I haven't had one. X
