sharing my latest ca125 result

I am scheduled to test CA125 every 2 months. Took the test this morning and had a completely crazy anxious day waiting for the results. It came back an hour back as 4.5. It was 4.4 last time. Down from 730 when I was first diagnosed. Such a relief and so looking forward to a few days vacay with my family this weekend!!

I am curious though. How much does the ca125 fluctuate for those who are NED or after the first line of treatment is done? I thought mine will do down further (went from 730 to 10 to 7.6 to 4.4 prior to today ), so I had a moment of anxiousness seeing today’s results.

the blessed Marsden never tells me how often they do Ca125 nor what it is. So I sail along. No doubt, when there is an issue, they will tell me. Xxx

that’s such good news. When I started on Olaparib mine went from 7 to below 3 where it’s stayed apart from one time when it came back at 3 and I panicked, daft or what? I got told that sometimes any small increase can be due to how the result is read. Congrats again on your result. Kathy x

not daft at all. I can imagine we will all panic when we do not see the results we would like.

Your levels sound great! I’ve been NAD for 18 months & CA125 tends to be in the teens, my last was 13 x

Mine has varied between 4 and 15 since I was NED in November 2006. I have never had a recurrence.
