Hair after chemo

I lost my hair with first line carbo/taxel, then after it came back it thinned on carbo/caelix and its never recovered. Last chemo was June 2021. Hair still very thin and limp. I used to have really thick strong hair. Is this usual or have some of you got your full crowning glory back

Hi, My hair is fine in texture although there is quite a lot of it. I finished carbo caelyx towards end of August this year and my hair has definitely thickened now. I hope yours gets back to normal shortly,x

my last Carbo taxol was Nov 21 and it was the second time of chemo hair loss, having lost it 20 years ago with breast cancer. Back of head is pretty thick and has grown about 4”. Fringe is only about 1” long and woolly in texture. Since I am a big fringe lady, this is not a good look. Am still wearing my rather trendy wig with white fringe shading to medium brown everywhere else and have just ordered a bright red wig.....Emma x

I finished carbo/ caelyx in marchy ,my hair is still thin ,althy I have started Gemcitabine now , so probably didn't have enough time to recover.xx

my hair has never been the same sine Carbo/taxol but it did improve after lots of supplements, healthy diet and hair fix that I massaged in 3 times a week.I only use semi permanent dye or dye from health shops. My fringe is still brittle and breaks of easily so I buy clip in fringes and dye same colour as my hair. People are amazed if they find out it not real as works well. Good luck x

I too lost my already quite fine and silver hair and although it grew after taxol it is very slow growing now on caelyx. Once a week I use a caffeine conditioner to try to help. My nails layer and chip now so I will try the tip on coconut oil and shea butter
