I am looking to hear if anybody else has experienced this please.
At my recent eye test (last week - September 2022) my eye pressure was quite high and on looking online I see that chemo can cause an increase in eye pressure
I finished my chemo (single agent Carboplatin) in May 2022 and wonder if this could be the cause of my high eye pressure? I am returning to the opticians next week for further tests though.
I should add glaucoma does run in my family so it could just be genetics and be unrelated to my recent chemo.
Thank you in advance for any experiences that anybody could kindly share.

Hello SarahBa, I had issues but not glaucoma. My eye sight changed during chemo and results were cataracts on both eyes. Doctor did tell me chemo does effect eyes and that’s what made my cataracts worsened. So sorry to hear you are dealing with eye issue as well. Best to you and praying pressure comes back down.
In case anybody reads this I just want to say that there was a problem with the eye pressure machine at my opticians. I think it's important that I come back to this post of mine to write this in case anybody is put off having carboplatin in case they think it affects their eyes. I will of course still continue to get my eyes tested as usual but thankfully the carboplatin did not cause an increase in my eye pressure.
