My beautiful mum passed away on the 27th of July peacefully. She battled for 5 and a half years, never complained and got on with life the best she could.
She was the best mum, wife Nan and friend to us all and my best friend, we have so many happy memories that we shared it has left a massive empty hole.
I would like to thank most people for their help through my time on hear and will look on this forum from time to time to see if I can help anybody as throughout this I have gathered much information to try and help my mum. In the last year I have come across lots of new things in trials or going to trials and I am sure that things will get better for people with this awful cancer.
So all keep your chins up love to all Ali xx

Dear Ali, this is very sad to hear. You have been a wonderful support to your mum and I am sure that made her last years so meaningful. Speaking as a mother that’s the best gift you could give her. However that leaves you with a huge loss. I am so sorry for that. Xx

I’m overwhelmed by all your lovely messages knowing that your going through this in some way yourself or a loved one is, so thank you. Really trying to get on with usual things and making sure dad is ok but so so hard without mum. One thing I will say if you are not at a specialist cancer hospital that specifically specialises in your type of cancer I would definitely find one. We saw professor Gordon Jayson at the Christy hospital Manchester but sadly to late for mum and also Dr Krell loc Harley street who has been so helpful in trying to find what was driving mums cancer of which he did but mum was just to weak at that time to start the trial. I really wished that we had done this when mum was first diagnosed. Love and best wishes to all and if anybody needs a chat anytime just let me know your all amazing love Ali xxx ❤️
How blessed your Mom was to have you by her side through this difficult journey. She will always be with you in a corner of your heart. God will take care of her now. My peace I give to you.
I'm so sorry for your great loss. I got teary eyed reading your post, as my mom is also my best friend. I cannot imagine this day. I wish you strength and peace moving forward day by day. xo
