Its a year since I had my debulking op. I cant believe its that long ago I can remember every detail of being in hospital. Apart from a hernia I feel pretty good, Ca125 steady. Im going to have a little "birthday" treat. Decided to get my hair coloured as it is totally grey and not a nice grey! Been very grey,pasty faced and fat for too long. (The fat is difficult to change )
Brilliant Rosebine sounds like your doing well , enjoy your birthday treat. I had my hair coloured but was sorry after, high maintenance roots and all but still you learn by your mistakes don't youHope your hair turns out how you like it. Just sat waiting for my scan & blood results an hour over expected time. Not bothered just want to know.

Hi RosebineHad my debulking surgery a year ago at present my CA125 hanging around 6 I had robotic ventral hernia repairs yesterday have to admit more painful than I thought but the binder is helping quite a bit was hoping to put it off longer but they were growing. Happy anniversary! I am so pleased that you are marking it….at the time you wonder if you will ever feel normal again but for many of us including you, we can look back and feel proud of the way we have come through. xx
That definitely deserves a celebration. Hope you have a great time at the hairdressers and come out feeling glamorous. But remember that your totally fab already! xxx

You've made me smile Rosebine, fat grey and pasty faced describees me to a tee, I'm thinking some highlights, but I've only just finished sixth cycle, so I may have to be grey a bit longer ,the fat I've given up on .Good to hear you're stable and doing well , have a happy birthday and enjy the luxury of the hairdressers . Cheryl, my hairdresser wont do a full colour ,shes worried about a reaction, but says having foils and "flashes "will be OK as the dye doesnt actually touch your scalp.

Hi Rosebine. Hilights will look sensational.Be happy with your "fat" & beautiful body. I have the opposite problem. Down to 39kgs (I'm 5 foot) & with my very short cropped hair, I look like a POW🥴. I'm hoping I'll put on some more weight soon.
