In this month's 'Health in Focus' posts we've been looking at ways of raising awareness of ovarian cancer and its signs and symptoms. As today is the last day of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, we'd like to thank all of you for everything that you do to raise awareness and offer support to our community of people affected by ovarian cancer.
It's also that time of year again in the UK when the clocks change, which means it's time for an update post which we will pin to the sidebar.
If you haven't posted for a while but would like to let your forum friends know how you're doing, please do leave an update in the comments below. You are of course always welcome to start a new post with your news, but it won't be pinned so may get a bit lost on such an active forum.
It will be great to hear how you're all getting on.
Best wishes
Julia

Hi Julia & everyone at Ovacome and of course all the Teal ladies.
I'm nearly 4 1/2 yrs since diagnosis of primary peritoneal stage 4, high grade, brca wildtype. Had the usual chemo regime, debaulking etc and maintenence treatment. CA125 settled at 8 from 139 and stayed low until last year when the numbers started to rise again. CT in the next couple weeks to find out what is happening. I already know my next steps, which will be Carbo and Caelyx which surprised me as Carbo and Taxol worked well for me last time. Then Niraparib for maintenence.
Apart from this I'm trying to work through the recent loss of my Mum. Lost Dad in 2002. Boxes full of lifetime memories. Just me, hubby and a large box of tissues. 😪
I dip in and out of the forum when I feel I can and I really don't know where I would be without the Ovacome team and everyone of you.
Thank you for sharing your update. I'm very sorry to hear about your Mum.
