Scared
Hello... don’t feel you have to be brave here... many of us have been where you are and it’s a horrible scary place. You may have to put on a face for friends and family but please feel free to ask anything here and to tell us how you really are. This group has been a source of wisdom and comfort for me over the years and it’s such a relief to talk to people who understand xx
Stay strong Polo the waiting is always the hardest. Soon you’ll know and you will move forward with a plan. Sending you hugs❤️
As Cbyrdie says the waiting is really hard and causes so much anxiety. The good thing is you've got a diagnosis now and your oncologist will soon have all the information needed to get you started on the best possible treatment.
It's natural to be scared. Do you have someone you can talk to? A partner, best friend?
Writing things down can help too. Maybe start a diary?
I hope coming here and sharing is helping you and do keep coming back.

Hi - so sorry you are going through this. As others have said there is no need to be brave on here - I think in a way it is better not to hide the way you feel all the time with friends and family as you can get yourself into a position where they think you are coping so well and being so brave that you feel you have to live up to their expectations.
I was in your position a year ago and thought I would never cope: I did and so will you. Once you know the result and what the treatment plan is, you will feel much better. Ask anything at all, rant if you need to, ask for help from people on here and your family, medical staff and friends. You will have up and down days but will pick yourself up. The odd pity-party is acceptable! Oh, don't google - the info is often out of date and one site contradicts another. You will be told by of all the side effects of treatment but they are the possible side effects and people respond differently. One step at a time - I have a schedule of each biopsy, cycle, scan, etc on my kitchen wall and tick them off as they are done and it's great to see how far you have come and an end in sight!
Let us know how you get on.
