I’m to have a infusion of magnesium tomorrow whilst I’m at the chemo unit. Does anyone know how long they take?

Thanks x

I am currently on magnesium infusions. They can be anything from four to eight hours so be sure to ask how long it is going to take. My last one was eight hours. I have been told the longer the period the better the magnesium is absorbed. Hope this is helpful.

I've had a few. They like to infuse it slowly. Mine was 4 hours.

Fortunately it was over 2 hours, BUT unfortunately the drugs were 2 hours late so same result 😂
