Lymphadenopathies, cortical calcifications

After my mother's increasing CA125 trend, we went to have ct scan and the result can be summarized as follows: cortical calcifications, lymphadenopathies and renal cyst Bosniak type 1 (which i read is benign, but because of her history, i dont know what to believe anymore.) Anyone who has an idea about these results? Her oncologist's schedule is still on friday and i feel like i cant wait that long for her to explain what will be the next days for us. I am so depressed and i feel bad for my mother because i cant be strong for her. She's such a strong and positive woman and i only want a happy life for her.

I expect you've already looked up lymphadenopathy and cortical calcification - I don't think any of us on here is a radiologist, I'm certainly not, so interpreting those results accurately and working out what they might mean for your mother is not something any of us is likely to be able to do, nor would presume to. Presumably the cortical calcification is renal, and lymphadenopathy just means swollen or enlarged lymph nodes - quite why and what that all means is something I can only guess at...

Whatever it all means, try to do some deep breathing, keep calm and don't panic - it is what it is and worrying about it won't change the outcome, you will know soon enough. Best wishes to your mother...
