Avastin and ca 125 level going up

I’m new to this. Has anyone had ca 125 levels to creep up with Avastin alone. Mines went from 37,43,56,78, and now 140. But my ct scans are clear.

Hi.. my recent experience on Avastin was pretty much the same, four single doses every 3 weeks with CA125 increasing every time, Oncol comment was we don’t worry about that, but I did.. asked for a CT couldn’t have PET because of Covid.. CT report came back clear except for small amount of Asities prob of Metatastic nature... more Avastin, but CA rising to 240 by this time I could have PET about 8weeks later and it showed lots of small nodes and spots under 1cc... app CT scans doesn’t show up if very small so now back on Cisplatin and Caelyx .. hope this helps.

Hi I had 18 avastin and after 6 it started steadily climbing after 18 when avastin stopped the rate it increased doubled. So with dread 18 months after first having avastin I had a scan and despite the increasing ca125 all the cancer is stable and I do not see the consultant till December. I asked her about the ca125 and she said on its own she would not do anything but if scan shows progression and Ca125 is over 200 then she will. She says the avastin is doing its job and I should be pleased she is delighted for me. Hope this helps.

Hi, I have a CT scan today as my ca125 levels are increasing. Been increasing since Dec, when it was 8 now at 38. I'm on Avastin alone. I've had bowel issues for some time, constipation on and off but recently this is needing more managing with an increase in laxatives. Feeling full at the start of a meal on occasions and acid reflux.

My diagnosis Nov 2016 with ppc, high grade serous, stage 3c/4. Non brca, germline wildtype. CA125 at diagnosis was 139. Treated with Carbo/Taxol, surgery and then Avastin.

Thanks for the respond. My dr told me that she was going to stop checking ca 125 every 3 weeks that she was going to wait and check it in 3months along with the ct scan. Bc it was bringing on too much stress, which is probably why my numbers doubled. She didn’t seem too worried bc 2 weeks prior my ct scan was great!!!! I just hate that Avastin keep doing this. Hopefully it will drop within 3 months. I don’t have any symptoms of anything, I feel great besides, mild back stiffness from the Avastin and the late side effect from the taxotere
