Thanks for best wishes for surgery

Thanks to everyone who sent their best wishes. Surgery went better than expected Had surgery at 09.30 in recovery by 13.30 even had an evening meal. Out of bed by 10.30 day after surgery. As a lot of you said it was the best time to have surgery as wards were half empty and didn't miss visitors as Facetime and watsapp plus emails and phone call made up for it

Had review with Consultation on Thursday very pleased with surgery and my recovery. Oncology Facetime appointment on 9th June to set date for next 3 cycles of chemo

Thanks again ladies

So glad that all went well with you and fingers crossed for a full recovery. Just sitting here having my 3rd cycle of chemo with a view to surgery soon. Very worried about it so great to hear good-news stories!

Very best wishes to you.

Lesley.

No need to worry Lesley,

I'd give my right arm to have second surgery but It's not to be. I found surgery much easier to contend with than chemo.

I'm on Rucaparib at the moment and praying it's working.

Superb news. Another milestone and achievement ticked along the journey. Enjoy a few days of rest before the round of chemo.
