Just wondering if it is possible to be getting treated for 1 type of cancer using a drug for that particular type & get another type of cancer that may require a different drug combination..

Its quite difficult to answer that without much more detail - it probably depends on whether the second type of cancer is a result of differentiation of the original cancer. I;ve got two types, but one is a differentiation of cancer cells into non small cell neuroendocrine cancer thought to originally be epithelial serous OC, so they treat as if it was just the latter.

My original diagnosis was oc; biospy done, had surgery etc followed by more chemo. All seemed clear for 6months. Then got told something suss goung on in liver, may not be cysts as 1st thought. No biospy done just more treatment . Treatment seemed to do nothing & ca125 doubled. 3 months on & I on more treatment.
