I just retired from the California Highway Patrol after some 35 years I had a great career. I've been fortunate enough to have survived my cancer and it has been a blessing to have met you wonderful ladies on this site. I just wanted to thank you all reading and hearing your stories has helped me not to feel alone. Up until a year and a half a go I pets new no other person whom had ovarian cancer then a distant friend called me. She had been given 5-6 month's, I was able to get her to see my onc, gyno, surgeon, today she is cancer free. I now see her every 6 months. Thank you ladies. ❤❤Liz

Congratulations on your retirement, Liz! 🎉 35 years is a great accomplishment. So glad that you (and your friend) are doing well! Wishing you all the best.
Just want to wish a long, happy and healthy retirement. I wonder how long it will be before you say, " I don't know how I ever found time to go to work". I hear it so often from my husband and friends who've retired. 🤔
Enjoy a well deserved retirement from your amazing role in CHIPs. Thank you for your service to your country ❤️.
I’m so pleased both you and your friend are still here with us, spend all the coming years enjoying life, be outrageous, be sassy and most importantly be loved, we all know how important it is to fill our days with love and joy.
Congratulations to you! After 32 years of ownership, my business was just acquired and I have 6 months of consulting then will be done. I want to get to that point of feeling like its a vacation! But then not going back after--that I am ready for. ENJOY all and congratulations on staying NED!!! xoxoxo
It's so good of you to let us all know you have been quietly and loyally 'keeping in touch' with us all. As others have said, what an interesting and challenging job and warmest wishes for your retirement...or as I've coined it, 'my next phase of life'. Having survived this far, everyone here is wishing you many more years of health and new adventures to come.
