When did you start hormonal maintenance?

Hi ladies!

Haven't been writing or responding to get my mind of it a bit.

So my last chemo was on April 15 and CA125 still around 10, so that's looking good.

My first post-chemo scan is next week and the results will be in May 20. So that's still a bit nerve wrecking but the Onc dared to say he doesn't expect to see anything now.

I am er and pr positive and requested an anti hormone as maintenance therapy to reduce the chances of recurrence or at least prelong progression free and overal survival. The Onc was positive about it but had to discuss with the team. My question is: If anyone went the same route, how long after your last chemo did you start the treatment and how is it going?

Hope you are all as well as possible.

Love Esther

Hi Esther, I had my scan results last Friday, nothing to suggest any disease and finished chemo on 29th April. I will be starting Letrozole fairly shortly , just waiting for my oncologist to write to the GP to prescribe it.

Hope your results are good too

Best wishes

Alex
